Vape City® is committed to keeping tobacco and nicotine products out of the hands of minors. This policy explains how we handle age requirements in our stores and on this website.
Minimum Age: 21
Under federal law, it is illegal for any retailer to sell tobacco products, including e-cigarettes, vapes, e-liquids, and other nicotine products, to anyone under 21. This requirement, known as “Tobacco 21,” took effect nationwide in December 2019. Vape City also does not sell CBD products to anyone under 21.
ID Checks in Our Stores
Our team members check a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license, state ID card, passport, or military ID) for every customer who appears to be under 30. FDA rules require retailers to verify age by photo ID for anyone under 30. Customers may be asked for ID even if they appear older.
Refusal of Sale
We will refuse a sale if a customer:
- Is under 21
- Cannot present a valid government-issued photo ID when asked
- Presents an ID that appears expired, altered, or not their own
No Proxy or Straw Purchases
We do not allow anyone to buy products on behalf of a person under 21. If our team believes a purchase is being made for a minor, the sale will be refused.
Our Website
Vape City does not sell products online. Vapecity.us is informational only and is intended for adults 21 and older. Visitors are asked to confirm their age before entering the site. By using this website, you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older.
No Marketing to Minors
We do not design, direct, or place our advertising, promotions, or social media content to appeal to people under 21.
State and Local Laws
Vape City operates stores in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and other states. Some state or local laws may set additional or stricter requirements. Where they do, our stores follow the stricter rule.
